Superior Apartment

Comfortable seaside studios at reasonable off-peak rates Positive: This was our second stay at Kalypso, this time on the street side. The studio is smartly designed, quite like a hotel suite, with comfortable bedding. It is fairly well equipped but without a washing machine. Parking is usually fairly easy at the back of the building. The location is pleasant, by the harbour and seafront, with a very good cafe (Pralina) and an assortment of bars and restaurants nearby. The city centre is half an hour’s walk away. Pets are allowed. In October the rates are very reasonable. Negative: It was no problem for us out of season, but at busy times of year I can imagine noise might be an issue for some. As might also be the green and red LEDS (exit sign and electricity) on all night in the bedroom. It’s true, as others mention, that the electricity is cut off as soon as the key fob is taken from its slot.

Negative: Key card cutting power off during absence is hard to manage. Keys tightly attached to the card make door locking/unlocking procedure discomfort

Great location to discover Kalamata! Positive: Comfortable, clean studio directly on the beach promenade, hosts were helpful and reactive to questions.

Positive: Very clean, seemed newly refurbished, super good location from the beach, very kind and helpful host, it was simply perfect for our stay.
